Satpol PP Holds Mass Cleanup Action for Churches in Jakarta

Jakarta Satpol PP is holding a mass cleanup action for churches spread across Jakarta.

This is a form of our concern for our Christian brothers and sisters

Jakarta Satpol PP Head, Arifin said that the mass cleanup action is part of the concern to make the church area neater and cleaner, thus the congregation can be more comfortable worshiping.

"This is a form of our concern for our Christian brothers and sisters," he expressed, Friday (12/22).

He explained the personnel in each region coordinated in advance with the church caretakers before carrying out this clean-up action. It was carried out simultaneously in five areas of the city before the Christmas celebration.

"Hopefully, it will provide benefits for the congregation or people who come to perform Christmas services at the church," he explained.

He also deployed 1,406 personnel to assist in the security and smooth running of Christmas services in 429 churches in five areas of the city.

"We want people who celebrate Christmas to be able to conduct worship with a sense of security, comfort, and solemnity," he asserted.
